Implementing the Macedonian Central Securities Depository

Amidst regional conflict, a 22-person project team established the Central Securities Depository (CSD) in 2001. The project was part of Macedonia’s capital market reform, also involving restructuring of the banking structure. This pivotal project facilitated secure transaction processing (CSD – banks/brokers – Stock Exchange) and laid the groundwork for a resilient capital market ecosystem. Dyrkoren managed the project under contract with Norway Registers Development AS.
